We synthesised cyanine dye derivatives and investigate their capability for mitochondrial targeting and organelle-specific delivery of different cargoes. NMR (*.fid), LCMS (*.d) and HRMS (*.pdf) spectra of synthesised compounds, confocal microscopy results (*.tif), and cell viability data (*.opj) are available here. Please refer to the publication (https://doi.org/10.1039/c9cc07931a) for nomenclature.
