The control of industrial heating loads, such as bitumen tanks, to provide frequency response to the power system was studied in the paper. The data generated from the research estimates the amount of change in the power consumption of bitumen tanks when frequency varies from its nominal value at 50 Hz: the tested frequency range was between 49.5 Hz and 50.5 Hz.
