The dataset includes an OWL ontology which describes the concepts and relationships in the smart water domain, to integrate data and services across scales in water network management software; primarily those related to GIS and telemetry data. The dataset also includes a CSV file detailing the response times of the ontology when hosted on an Apache Jena triple store and quried repeatedly with SPARQL queries. Research results based upon these data are published at http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.autcon.2017.02.004
