Disgrifiad

Micro Electrical Discharge Machining (micro-EDM) is a micro-manufacturing process that involves the removal of material on a workpiece electrode through electrical discharges, using a tool electrode. In the micro EDM experiments performed a cylindrical tool electrode with a nominal diameter of 300µm was produced by wire-EDM dressing. This tool was measured before and after the machining experiment with the help of a micro-tomographer of a resolution of 1µm. The dataset given here is the resulting three-dimensional meshes.
