Abstract
The
coordination chemistry of lanthanide complexes bearing
bis(oxazolinylphenyl)amine ligands was studied, providing a thorough
investigation of their structural chemistry, and additionally establishing the
use of luminescence spectroscopy to probe their solution-state structures.
The complexes were used as catalysts for the hydroamination/cyclisation
of aminoalkenes, and the ring-opening polymerisation of lactide.
